I'm a designer working in packaging, print, and information design. My work is graphic rather than illustrative. Typography, color, and layout carry it.

Most of what I know about design I learned in a store. I spend my days building signage and campaign assets inside brand guidelines I don't get to change, then standing on the floor watching whether any of it works from across the room. Finding out within a day whether a piece reads at twenty feet has made me a lot less precious about ideas that only hold up at 100 percent on a screen.

I like tight constraints. Extending a brand system to a product that didn't exist yet, getting a data set to argue something instead of just reporting it, making a poster work at distance and still reward someone standing close. I usually start on paper before I open anything.
